Sports

The Metro League is home to Southridge High School, Jesuit High School, Beaverton High School, Aloha, Westview and Sunset. Most agree that the Metro is the most competitive league in the state. Southridge won the 6A football title in 2008 and five consecutive Women's Basketball titles from 2004-2008. The Jesuit Crusaders are extremely successful in all sports; they frequently are ranked one of the top athletic schools on the west coast. Beaverton has enjoyed success in track and baseball. The Beavers often contend for state titles as well.

Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District

THPRD provides the community with multiple trails, parks and event centers. Their facilities have been recognized nationally; Sports Illustrated named it the 50th Anniversary Sportstown of Oregon. The organization also maintains a community garden and a variety of competitive and recreational sports leagues. A link to their website is below.

Beaverton Library

The Beaverton Library has two locations and a huge collection of books. The main library is downtown on the corner of Hall and 5th. Constructed in the early 2000s the building is a fantastic place to hold meetings and events as well. A smaller library outpost can be found on the corner Scholls Ferry and Murray. It opened in 2011 and is very popular.
